Soaring Eagle Ecology Center is honored to be one of the recipients of the 2012 Open Lands Small Grants for Community Partnerships. The funding from this wonderful grant, along with some matching funds from the Red Feather Historical Society, will be used to construct a handicapped accessible outdoor classroom. This outdoor classroom will consist of pine beetle wooden benches and podium that can accommodate 26 to 30 participants in a glorious outdoor setting. SEEC plans to have the outdoor classroom completed in time for the SEEC 2012 summer programs. SEEC would like to thank Larimer County and the Department of Natural Resources and the Red Feather Historical Society for their generosity and support. The Red Feather Lakes area has a great sense of community spirit. Thank you!
